THE THRONE

Kunsthalle, Budapest

The Throne was exhibited in the central hall of one of the most famous contemporary art galleries of Budapest. The huge throne was assembled from different objects and pieces of furniture from different ages, which were organically sewn together by re-used wooden elements entwining the installation like a trailing plant. The piece is trying to allude to nature, the supernatural, timelessness, and sustainability.
